We provide a full Planning Drawings Service. If, for example, you were planning an extension, our typical Planning Drawings Service would include a detailed survey by one of our qualified and experienced architects.
We would also produce outline plans with the Ordinance Survey site maps required with every planning application. Other Technical Drawings would include the existing and proposed elevations, the new room layout and any staircase addition or modification.
We would also provide a likely budget for the options suggested. The Working Drawings are both needed for obtaining the relevant planning consents and also providing the detail for our team. These technical drawings typically will include items such as the steel structure and floor joist layouts, the exact positioning of windows and means of escape, and details about the insulation, plumbing and ventilation. In particular, these will include specifications for all building works to current British Standards.
These plans will include the necessary Structural Calculations typically including the loading calculations for all timber and steel beams and joists and deflection and tolerance calculations.
